Dr. Carlos Guillermo Pena, MD

Hace menos de un mes tuve a mi segunda bebé, y este maravilloso doctor fue el q la trajo al mundo,no tengo palabras para todos los sentimientos de agradecimiento q tengo hacia el. En este embarazo tuve varias emergencias y el contesta el teléfono en la 1ra llamada o mensaje , siempre atento y muy gentil, pendiente siempre a mis estados de salud ,créenme q tengo amistades q han estado embarazadas y el muy diferente a los otros doctores. Además es mi segunda experiencia más q positiva con el ,ya q él también trajo mi 1ra bebé a este mundo también, y desde hace 4 años q la tuve,fue la misma y linda experiencia con el ,por eso q no dude y con los ojos cerrados lo escogí de nuevo a él y lo escogería mil veces más, Es el mejor doctor del mundo, todas las madres deberíamos pasar por una lindo recuerdo en todo nuestro embarazo y el se encarga de eso en todo ese proceso.El debería llevarse ese reconocimiento de q su trabajo es más q excelencia, eso lo hará seguir siendo como es. For all those pregnant women my opinion about this doctor is: girls, he is the best, and the most serious doctor I've seen in this county. My pregnancy could not be achieved, sadly for me and my husband, but he helped us, advised, and encouraged us that everything will be fine. Office personnel extremely rude but what shocked me the most was being mistreated by the manager herself. I went in to pick up some blood test the doctor assistant had prescribed after my regular test results had shown anemia and he had referred e to a hemathologist and ordered a more extensive blood test with the purpose of bringing it to the hemathologist. Well I called the office to ask if my results were in so I could pick them up and after explaining to the person on the phone she gave me the OK to pick them up and i was on my way.Upon my arrival to the office I let one of the girls know why I was there for and explained her I had already talked to someone on the phone, she told me she couldn't give me the results and I explained what the purpose of the doctor even sending them was( to have them ready for my upcoming visit to the hemathologist) she asked my name and that's it,after a few minutes I went back and asked her if she had found out about the issue she said I am waiting… for the manager,so the manager came and they went onto talk away from me.Then the manager comes back and asked me to go in an office with her and her way of saying Hi to me was: You don't need to be rude to my employee,to which I responded that I was surprised she was telling me that,let's make it clear that at no point I was rude or upset towards her employee. Then she goes on to tell me again that I don't need to be rude to her employee because she was following policy and I said again, I am surprised you are saying this because I had not been rude to her and it was the complete opposite to which she responded " we can't make everyone happy" .At that point I realized she was just going to be rude to me and have no sensitivity towards my concern with my blood test results,and she goes on to tell me that she is the administrator and Dr Pena's wife which I found was irrelevant to the case,but I guess it was just another way of mistreating me as a patient.So after I got my test results in my hands I left in shock and convinced that I never want to go back t this office for several reasons: - I never ever see Dr Pena anymore,always I see his Assistant. -When my yearly visit came up even though I mad clear I felt nothing and they also confirmed they felt nothing the sent me to get a breast ultrasound on both sides listing on the referral "breast pain" as diagnosis when I had made clear I did not have any pain. -Going to the gynecologist is already uncomfortable enough to also be mistreated unfairly because someone is the doctor's wife. -And last but most importantly because when I go to the doctor I expect their main goal is to make EVERYONE HAPPY ad obviously as stated by the office manager they can't make everyone happy and since this is not a priority at this practice I prefer to find another doctor that makes their patients happiness their practice motto

Besides bad doctor is bad person, just think about money. I do not recommend it at all

Terrible terrible terrible. Walked out while I was in labor because I requested an epidural before he broke my water. Said he had a course to attend. Signed me out of the hospital without ever performing a check up. HE NEVER DID A CHECK UP ON ME!! It was always his assistants. Tried to get me to schedule to get induced because he said he only works Monday to Friday. His bedside manner is very rough and he is very awkward. Cannot stress enough how bad my experience with him was. I already had kids and had gone through a birth, I cannot imagine what it must feel to be a first time mom with this doctor.

Recently our family is enjoying a new joy with the arrival of the second baby thanks to the hands of Dr. Carlos Peña and his team. The care and attention in both of my wife's pregnancies have been exceptional. We recommend Dr. Peña and his team to be part of your happiness. Thank you very much Doctor and staff.

Dr doc... idk if you remember me but I’m Valerie, you helped me deliver my beautiful daughter Julianna in 2013! I was 27 then. I’m 32 now and Juli is 5 and I have a couple of questions but that can wait. Frist things first!!!! OMG THANK YOU!!!! When I say you did a wonderus job with cecerian you have NO IDEA!!! Thank you so very very much! It was almost pain free and I was walking around in no time afterwards! I was able to sit up and lay back and be comfortable. Numb but very comfortable! I was so pleased with even how he fixed my previous cecarian disaster, remove the dead cells and create a new beat ?? scar, which I (thanks to you.) wear PROUDLY. Need to come see you! Please be my gyno! I know I’m 5 years late to this review But we weren’t as available either we’re back in 2013 now I made my appointment and I will get with you on the 18th!!!. The best doctor

I'm so greatfull, my baby boy has cleft lip and palate and dr. Peña and his team was present in all my pregnancy and c-seccion. They are a awesome team, professional, supportive and caring. I'm grateful for an unique and incredible experience having my first baby. Love them..
