Thorough exam with several breathing tests. I’ve been to 3-5 pulmonologist in my 74 years. He’s the most thorough and spent the most time with me.

My Wife and Daughter forced me to go to the hospital because i was on my second round of pneumonia just a couple of weeks apart in the first month of 2019. I have pretty severe COPD and I didn't know what i was doing. Fortunately God Blessed me and landed me in the hospital under the care of Dr. Perez in the middle of the night. I was intubated for around 9 or 10 days with Dr. Perez throwing all his knowledge and skills at me and he literally Saved My Life that night. He may not sit down and chit chat alot with you but he will do everything he can to help you get well. He's one of the Best Dr's. i have ever had and I'm thankful knowing he' available in our area.

Changing over from a GP to a pulmonologist can be frightening , did we do this don't. Forget that the coordination of services can be disasterous, and frightening, forgotten meds,overlapping services insurance insanity , dr perez team of profesionals have worked like a sinchronized dance team, looking forward to being under his care, because i now have angels watching over me.

I HAD MY FIRST APPT, WITH DR PEREZ YESTERDAY, I WAS TREATED SO WELL,EVERYONE WAS KIND AND HELPFUL ,DR PEREZ took his time, explaining each step of the.way,answered my questions, in detail,I definitely, would recomend.

Love Dr Perez !! His office staff is very unproffessional of any I have ever seen. You can not get them to answer a phone, they are very disrespectful and the one that sits at the front desk is just rude. I had to quit making appts with him because I could never get them and if by chance I had to cancel a appt I had to drive 32'miles to cancel because the rude one at at TH front desk would not answer a phone.

Dr. Perez is very caring, concerned and thorough. His office staff, however, should all be fired and start over. It takes days and days to get anyone to answer the phone, they are rude when you do finally reach them and they don't have a clue on the billing. It is really sad to find a really decent doctor, just to never be able to reach him for an appointment when you need him.

No one answers the phone at the office. The hospitals, nurses, pharmacists and all of the patients that I have visited with say the same thing. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!! They tell you to call and schedule an appointment but that is not possible because they never answer the phone. They have big signs in their office stating that they will not fill pain medication on the weekend and that it has to be called in during business hours. Again that is impossible because no one answers the phone. Also, Dr. Perez used to spend time with his patients and listen to them now he herds them in like cows and acts as though he does not care about them at all.

The office staff and Dr. Perez have repeatedly taken over a week to get my prescriptions to the pharmacy. The last time I was there they scolded me for calling too much during a time when I couldnt get my medications. They are unorganized, rude and they absolutely do not have any compassion for someone who can't breath. I am waiting for Dr. Perez' signature on a fax for going on 2 weeks now. I will be changing Dr.s as soon as I can.
