I went to book an appt with this psych. and was told that in order to see this Dr. I would have to first drop my current therapist to see one of their therapists in order to further see Dr. Placci. I was also told that there was an 8 to 9 week waiting list to even get an appt. To me, the first point seems like a restricting demand that, in my opinion, is a rule meant to make money for the practice rather than something that would help the patient. And waiting 9 weeks? Are you kidding me? Some people are desperate for help NOW and need to be seen a lot sooner. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. The aforementioned are my opinions.

My experience with Dr. Placci was wonderful...he is patient, kind and extremely professional. With his guidance and support I was able to build my confidence enough to change my life. I will be forever grateful to him for his help. I know my family is grateful as well...I can say that Dr Placci was recommended to me by my family Dr....

Dr Placci helped me understand and handle a potentially dangerous, definitely stressful personal relationship. I will be forever grateful for his support and compassion.

The ONE review on this site has to be regarding a different doctor. I find Dr Placci to be a very friendly yet straightforward Dr. I see him for my Sunoxone prescription and he is an extreme improvement over my previous Dr. For the same reasons. He gets down to the point and asks what he needs to and im on my way, no crap. I like that. I do see how that could be a problem for someone with major depression but for recovery and Suboxone, hes the man.

dr Placci was very rude. This was my first attemp at getting help for myself. dr Placci made me feel as if I could not ask questions or express my concerns with medication. He became rude and angry when I asked these questions. He also did not do a proper real evaluation for diagnosis. We talked for 15 mins about my family and he tried to give me medication for something I am not. He then kicked me out of his office for saying that I did not agree with him. This was the worst experience and I definitely understand why so many people are afraid to ask for the help they need. Please do not go to him.
