Meet Dr. Privette
Dr. Carlos J. Privette, DDS, a Durham native, attended Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology.
Upon graduating from WSSU with honors, he entered Mehary Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee where he received a Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree in 1998. Dr. Privette has had the distinct pleasure of doing international research at the Oslo Institution of Research located in Oslo, Norway.
In July of 1999, Dr. Privette opened his first state of the art dental facility in Cary , NC. He opened his present office in December 2007. Dr. Privette is currently licensed to practice dentistry in North Carolina and Virginia.
He is an active member of the National Dental Association, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
When not at his practice, Dr. Privette enjoys spending time with his wife, child, …family, and friends. His hobbies include tennis, reading, real estate investment, and exploring new research in the field of dentistry.
