Dr. Puig has been practicing hair restoration surgery since 1973. He currently is on the Board of Governors, and is Treasurer of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). A committed educator Dr. Puig has chaired the ISHRS Fellowship Training Committee, the Core Curriculum Core Competency Committee, the Finance committee, and organized both basics courses and live surgery workshops.
Dr. Puig not only provides the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of hair loss, but also medical anti-aging and skin care services …including Botox, facial fillers, hair removal, photo-facials, Hydrafacial, and medical skin care products.
Being somewhat of a contemporary renaissance man, Dr. Puig has interests outside of cosmetic and hair restoration surgery. An accomplished musician, be plays bass is several jazz bands around Houston. He enjoys training horses, and is currently working with a 9 year old white quarter horse named Skipper. A born again Christian, Puig has worked with Living Water International (LWI), a Christian ministry that trains and equips Christians in the third world to drill fresh water wells, and assists third world Christian physicians in caring for the poor of their communities. LWI is currently working in 22 countries throughout Central and South America, Africa, the Eastern Europe and Asia.
