Dr. Carlos Rios, MD

Dr. Rios is a knowledgeable and caring physician. He takes the time to listen and makes helpful suggestions. I can recommend him without hesitation.

In the years I saw Dr. Rios, he was unfailingly cold, condescending, and disrespectful. He took no care to listen to me as an individual, and did not read or respond to my communications. He made no effort to build trust or rapport, never making eye contact or giving more than a cursory glance. He was rigid, stubborn, and careless to my individual preferences; if there was the slightest disagreement I would get lectured, scolded, one time even shouted at. He seems to take joy in treating his patients the way a despot king would treat his subjects.

Made an appointment a month in advance . Arrived 10 minutes late due to the fact that I was on crutches with a broken ankle . Was told Dr Rios was to busy to see me due to the fact that I was late . Talk about disconnect . Guess I'm just a number not a person . Guess I'll find a primary care doctor that cares about his patients . Absolutely disturbing .?

I am very impressed with Dr Rios, am happy I found him and would definitely recommend him to family and friends. He is knowledgeable and patient, takes the time to listen and puts you at ease. He personally called me with the test results from my last visit to tell me to keep up the good work.

Examination room was not cleaned upon entering. I asked to be switched to another room and the nurse's wouldn't allow it. I arrived with a rib injury and the doctor didn't even check my breathing with a stethoscope. Dropped my xrays on the floor which caused them to get scratched. I absolutely will never be returning to this office again.

when a patient sees a phsycian, one would expect common courtesy-clearly, this physician is completely lacking in all of the above;he needs to learn humility and kindness;would Not suggest seeing this particular physician;he insults people and he is aloof. his superior should retrain him.There are plenty of other physicians who have a better attitude;he exudes an aloofness and distance-perhaps, medicine is not his true calling ?

Unhelpful and rude, this was by far the most inexperienced yet arrogant person I've encountered in the medical profession.

I found Dr. Rios to be smart, thoughtful and thorough, easy to talk with. I recommend him based on very good first appointment. My medical problem was kind of embarrassing (to me) and he dealt with it very professionally.

ignored most of my symptoms, spent very little time with me, and i left feeling as though i wasted my time!! i felt belittled, disregarded, and blown off on top of being sick!! terrible "doctor"!!
