In all the years I’ve gone to a doctors office. I have never had an office Manager Karina spoke to my daughter and I in such a disgraceful vulgar manner. She told me all my daughter information which is a hippa violation. I’m the mother yes, but it’s her personal business. My daughter was having chest pain and she turned her away because she didn’t have the 20 dollar co pay. Number 1 you are not to turn patients away when they have stated they’re having chest pain. Then she said well she owe us. Turns out on the balance receipt proves she’s was lying about the amount. I told her I would pay the full amount. She’s needs to be seen she’s having chest pain. The manager Karina said your daughter is an adult she can pay me. No! she couldn’t be seen we are not Charity this is not Welfare or Social Security. Dr. Santos is a private office. I’m so tired of patients wanting free service. She can go to the ER they bill there. My daughter didn’t want a free service. Bills are not being sent… out. The billing is incorrect. If they take the tone instead of distracting patients maybe the front office and the manager could run a professional Private office. The front office starts to laugh. My daughter then showed her she went across the street to get her $20.00 co -pay. But my daughter told the manager since this office treat patients like this I don’t want to ever be seen here. She said. Ok ,I don’t care. Then the manager obviously told the doctor of the incident and ask Karina to bring my daughter back to be seen. Karina called my daughter to come back. My daughter refuse. I had to meet her and drive her to the first emergency to be seen. We the patients should never ever except that kind of behavior. We will be notifying the better business bureau for a complaint. If we don’t stand up to this behavior and make. our complaints known This kind of behavior will continue. They’re too many doctors we have to choose from. Beware Horrible. Just because some hasn’t seen this behavior, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Horrible display of a office staff and the manager.

I see that there has been some negative reviews. The only thing that I can say is the the staff as well as Dr. Santos has been amazing. Very professional, polite and diligent when dealing with my mother. I could not ask for a better medical office. Hats off to a job well done! A very satisfied patient...

I visited this office SEVERAL times with no problem. 3weeks ago I visited this office and was TOTALLY dissatisfied. The Dr NEVER said a word to me. NEVER asked how are you or NOTHING. The student did ALL of the talking. Gave the Dr a report of my vitals and the reason for my visit. The Dr said absolutely NOTHING to me. He was writing and looking at the computer. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour and a half, the Dr took 5 or 6 minutes with me. On top of that up until today I STILL haven't received my equipment for my cpap machine. TOTALLY unprofessional....

I made the appointment almost two weeks ago and when I got to the office they did not even have me in the list. Then I asked about the Breathing Test and was told "Oh, you have to go to our other office in North Miami" which is over an hour away with traffic. What a joke this place.

This doctor is just a business that cares zero for patient, as a business practice/customer service is a direct reflection of the bad management by the Doctor of his office/clients. The office staff just told me that I need to go over different visits so that they can bill more visits to the insurance company... meaning we can't save time by making you come once for 2 things because we need to bill you in separate visits instead so we can charge double! Amazing honesty - care for billing ONLY!
