Dr. Carly Jean Miller, DO

Really needs better time management. Not sure why the office schedules appointments for times Dr. Miller can't and won't meet. If I don't get in at the 8:00 AM ish appointment, you can wait up to an hour to get seen. Even utilizing telemedicine, which should make time management more achievable, it doesn't happen. I love Doctor Miller's understanding and depth of knowledge., but she and her team need to do a much better job in schedule management. If you are a busy professional, I would probably find another Doctor to go see. Or book the 8:00 AM appointments only.

The other comments are sheer whiners. Read between the lines of their silly complaints. Dr. Miller spent an hour with me on my first visit. She sits down with you, not behind a desk and not just to dole out drugs. She wants to know about you. She wants to know about your family history. She wants to know what has impacted you in the past. She inquires on what is going on currently. No one forced me to write this. I have dealt with no less than 10 Psychiatric Doctors in my lifetime and she is, by far, in the top 2. You want to nitpick at seating or attitudes, then find someone else. I have been there and you have to find the right Psychiatrist that best fits your personality. However, do not go tagging on her just because she is not your cup of tea or you believe you should be pampered like a spoiled brat. You then, are in more dire treatment than what you may think. The problem is you, not Dr. Miller. She is a fine Psychiatrist. Give her a try. If she does not fit with your… personality, do not sit here and bash her.

Unethical and unprofessional

The office has 10 chairs crowded into a small room (one chair blocks easy entrance to the office) with no ventilation. During my 2 1/2 hour wait, there were up to 14 people in the room waiting. The phone is NEVER answered and the staff returned 1 of 4 calls during a period of weeks and that was 5 days after call. Very poor business management. NOT a good first impression. I woke up with a sore throat the day after my visit. NOT sanitary. Small sick children were playing with community toy blocks in a plastic bag. Noone from the staff ever came into the waiting room. It was hot while the outside temperature was in the 50's.

I am a current patient of Dr. Miller. I have seen other psychiatrists in the past but none as caring as she is. She takes the time to talk with you. I would highly recommend her.

Very poor interaction with the patient, at times if feels like she has no compassion. Staff is unfriendly and seems put out if you have questions and concerns. Your wait in waiting room could be over an hour, at times longer. Never expect a call back from her even if you call completely and utterly distraught. If you are seeing the therapist, she never interacts with them, which is usually the best way to monitor your emotional well being. A pharmacist needs a refill she will not except faxes from them. You have to go into the office or make your own phone calls to get some help. Overall, not the best experience when you're already struggling emotionally.

Dr. Miller has been wonderful to me. She helped with my depression, and understanding myself and having a better marriage. I know I can trust her and that's worth a lot. Past meds made me feel like a zombie. She helped me get off them and lose weight. Now I'm taking just one medication that works well!
