Dr. Carmelda Labaze

Dr. Carmelda Labaze is a family medicine and internal medicine physician who brings 13 years of medical experience to her practice. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Her dual specialty training allows her to provide comprehensive care for patients across all age groups while also focusing on adult internal medicine. Dr. Labaze is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Labaze practices at multiple Presbyterian Hospital locations throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She has particular expertise in treating respiratory conditions, including COPD and respiratory failure in both adult and pediatric patients. Her procedural skills include remote patient monitoring, which allows her to track patients' health remotely, as well as bursa aspiration and injection procedures to help manage joint and soft tissue conditions.
