Dr. Carmen Camille Mcgee, MD

I started my OBGYN appointments with Carmen as soon as I found out I was pregnant which was around 8 weeks. At about halfway, I was told that my cervix and placenta were too close together and that I would be referred to a high risk doctor so that I could be monitored. (This never happened!) I went to the emergency room a couple weeks later due to excruciating pain in my abdomen and several things were found, low platelets, fibroids, dehydration, a possible abruption. I was even admitted overnight to be monitored. The following day a "high risk doctor" came in and basically said I was fine and I could go home. At 32 weeks, another ultrasound was administered to check my placenta and cervix. I was given no results. I literally had to ask Carmen at my next visit about the results of the ultrasound and she said "oh, I didn't go over them with you". So I was then taken into her office to discuss the results where I was told everything looked good and my baby was in the 70th percentile and… that if I went into labor they wouldn’t try to delay it. At 36 weeks I received a phonecall stating that she would be out for 4 weeks for an emergency, so I knew she wouldn’t be the doctor delivering my baby. Fast forward to 37 weeks 5 days. I went to the ER due to reduced fetal movement where I found out that my baby no longer had a heartbeat. I was induced and my daughter was born at 6lb 8oz. 6 weeks passed and I didn’t receive a phone call or any condolences from Carmen. HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER. When I went in for my postop appointment, the intake nurse asked “how is the baby doing’? Unaware that my baby was stillborn. Carmen could not provide any answers and even told me that I “miscarried because I had COVID”. She is very incompetent to even say that I miscarried at 37 weeks, its clearly a stillbirth. I followed up with the doctor who delivered my daughter the very next day and was given a pathology report with the exact reason that my daughter did not make it and was educated on the cause. I do not recommend Dr. McGee she is very negligent and does not invest or provide any care or concern for her patients. Please chose another doctor!

Dr. Carmen takes her time with me as a patient. Not only does she make sure that I am taken care of physically, she ensures that I am taken care of mentally as well.

The worst mistake I made was going to this Dr. Time doesn’t seem to matter to anyone but her. Nasty attitude, very poor communication. I believe she orders extra test and lab work to run up a high bill for you to pick up. All my years of getting a yearly done never had a uterine biopsy ordered. Not to mention it was the worst pain in the world. I felt butchered by her. Needless to say it was negative thank God. Four hundred bucks that my insurance would not pay. If she was more concerned about her patients body than their country accent and their clogs. Then have the nerve to send out a personal letter about the remaining balance. Very bad energy I felt from her but tried to ignore. Thank God a new year has arrived and I can go back to my old practice for my yearly. Would not recommend her to anyone.

I would not recommend Dr. Carmen McGee to anyone she had very poor service. I was scheduled to go to the hospital at 6:00am to have a c-section . Dr. McGee was scheduled to do my c-section at 8:00 am because she did not arrive at 8:00am the nurses had informed me that there was nothing they could do until Dr. McGee arrives by that time me and my baby heart rate kept dropping and there was nothing the nurses could do because they had to wait unti Dr. McGee arrived. Dr. McGee arrived at 9:40 am and said she don’t do c-section at 8:00 am she would have to do it at 9:00am. I was in the hospital for 3 days Dr McGee never came to check on me and my baby. After the delivery of my baby Dr. McGee left out with an attitude and didn’t say Congratulations to me and my baby. I would never go back or recommend anybody to Dr. McGee her service was bad and unacceptable.

I had an amazing experience, I will never choose another Ob/GYN !!! Very down to earth and speaks to you so that you can totally understand what is going on, and walks you through each step with ease.

Dr. McGee is qualified, but her admin. staff is a disaster. I had an experience with a pelvic ultrasound that is too long to write about here, but basically, everyone involved dropped the ball. People's health is at stake here. I do not recommend her. If she doesn't get her practice more organized, she's going to lose patients, or worse, someone could die of ovarian cancer due to her negligence. I'm moving on to another doctor in Loganville.

I have had 4 different doctors for all of my children's delivery and Dr McGee is by far the best! She answered every question and was amazing in the delivery room

Absolutely loved her. The staff was AWESOME and very helpful. I an still waiting on results and i didnt know they were wauting on my test paper work to finish but thats whar took so long! I would totally recommend her!

Dr. McGhee is so caring and loving and easy to talk to that you feel like you're talking to a family member instead of a doctor.

Dr McGee is cheerful, kind, very thorough and knowledgable She spends a lot of time educating and ascertaining that her patients understand what is going on. Glad I found her
