Dr. Carmen Alicia Serrano Lopez, MD

I saw this doctor when I had unexplained leg weakness in 2018. Instead of helping me figure out what was wrong, she gaslit me and sent me to a psychiatrist. I'm now permanently disabled. She's lucky I got my diagnosis outside of the statue of limitations to sue. Don't waste your time with her. She will make you feel crazy and question your body instead of finding help.

DO NOT go to this doctor! Her bedside manner is terrible. She had zero compassion and told me I wasn’t listening to her question as I was explaining my symptoms. She did not take my lab results seriously from my allergist and reluctantly referred me to a rheumatologist. I wasted 2 hours with her and she lost her notes in the system twice. I have never met a doctor who made me feel so hopeless in my life. I will never go back and I suggest you stay far away if you need help.

Treated me disrespectfully, as if I’m stupid and don’t know anything about my health. It’s like she’s made up her mind that there are certain conditions she’ll treat, but anything outside that list is not worth her time or attention. She’s opinionated, and apparently not open to ideas she doesn’t already hold. Her manner and words can become very distressing but she’s unaware.

At first I thought, wow I like her, as a few more appointments go by, shes rude, makes a rude comment, and walks out o the room as I get dressed to never come back when I still have questions, I asked the Nurse where is the Doctor and she said already seing another patient, I said I had questions still... The only good thing I see she has going good for her is her Nurse Bobbi, shes a sweetheart and I really, really like her alot ..

cant believe i found some one above with ashort sweet comment.not only did i find her RUDE..she was belittling my condition,tells me the other drs i had did nothing for me.i never in over 50 yrs of my life met the worsrt dr in the world .telling me i dont talk before ithink .my anxiety in my head. unless your senior, or someone who will tolerate this DONT GO TO HER!!!!

Dr. Serrano treated my elderly mother with such kindness and helped her greatly. I was so impressed with her that she became my doctor. She spends time with you, does not treat you like you are an idiot, and really listens. Her staff is very efficient and polite, and she is very prompt with appointments. I have recommended her to several friends.

I was impressed that Dr. Serrano spent so much time with me during a recent visit. She appeared to be truly concerned and wanted to help me improve my issue. I've seen her on many occasions and have really grown to appreciate her as a physician. Her staff is also always attentive and courteous. I would recommend her to my friends.

Dr Serrano listened respectfully and patiently to everything my elderly mother had to say. When my mother spoke, Dr. Serrano gave her her undivided attention with constant eye contact. She was courteous and we never felt rushed. She is a doctor who asks many questions, is willing to work with the entire family for a positive outcome for her patients, and who is highly discriminatory when it comes to writing prescriptions, suggesting lifestyle changes first. Her staff has always been very helpful (thank you Bobby). A great team.

Dr. Serrano-Lopez is an exceptional diagnostician. What is even more important is that she is a caring and empathetic doctor. She listens and and bases her testing on your complaints, never ordering unnecessary testing.My husband has diabetes and she scolds him when his A1C (a 2-3 month study of his sugar) levels are high because she really cares. She also has sent him to an Endocrinologist to ensure better management of his diabetes.She prompt in her call backs even though it might only be her medical assistant. Overall, I can't think of going to a better doctor. The only problem is the wait time.

She is rude and insulting.
