Dr. Carmen Sylvia Slavov, MD

My previous primary care provider retired. When I asked him who I should transfer my care to he said to follow up with Dr. Carmen Slavov. He said without a doubt she is the best! This was several years ago and this review is well overdue. She is the best. Dr. Slavov is a nephrologist but I am lucky to have her as my primary care physician. As a physician myself I know the inner workings of medicine. The excellent care I receive from her is not because I am in the medical field. She gives ALL of her patients outstanding care. I have witnessed her care just waiting in the waiting area of her office. Dr. Slavov is very bright. She is up to date on new guidelines. Incredible professional and thorough. Her breadth and understanding of all specialties of medicine is deep. I so appreciate her and her care. If you want highly competent, caring and thorough she is the one to see. SHE IS THE ONLY REASON WHY I HAVE STAYED WITH MY MEDICAL GROUP!!! Thank you Dr. Slavov! You are the best!

I never thought that this doctor will always ignore my mom how she fells she ignore her and she always is mean to her I thing when you had cancer you need to check her and be careful of the system that she feels she doesn’t care at all

On may 15 i took my mom to doctor slavov, she was not felling good at all ,she was not breathing normal ,the doctor check mom and said it was just an allergy,give her a prescription for allergy and send us home, at three a.m in the morning ,my sister had to take her to the emergency they told her she had signs off pneumonia,my mom is 88 years old how can a Dr.said she's okey and send her home, this is an irresponsible ,and careless decision on her part ,i,m very angry i will never go back to this Dr.

My experience was great! she was nice and listening to me! She explained my condition well.

I was never treated with such disrespect by a doctor before. She comes in and tells me that she read I had marijuana in my system, according to my chart. I told her that because of a long term bronchial condition that I can't be exposed to ANY kind of smoke. After reading my chart with her, she apologized since she saw she was wrong. Still, she treated me with total disrespect for no reason at all and ignored what I said about a med not working for me, and prescribed more of the same. Terrible.
