Dr. Carol Louise Archie, MD

15 years post the first baby-delivery I am still traumatized. Dr. Carol Archie never showed up to my delivery. I was in UCLA and she lived in Westwood. I was in the hospital over 70 hours and Dr. Archie did not find the time to stop by. I almost lost my baby and my own life and ended up having an emergency C-Section by a resident who left so much scar tissue in my stomach' I was in pain until my next OBGYN fixed in when I delivered my second baby. Not only Dr. Archie did not show up to my delivery, but she also did not visit me the next day and or at all. My private insurance paid her fees and she just ignored me and my baby. I later learned that this is not out of the ordinary for her. I should have known better when she left me on the exam table, naked, without a blanket and went to the other room to chat on the phone. I was already in an advanced stage of my pregnancy and did not want to switch. This mistake is something I was never able to get over. She was later kicked to… Harbor UCLA and I am sad to realize she is still practicing. Dr. Archie is a disgrace to the medical profession and her license should be taken away from her. I know my experience is not unique, also because I happened to run into one of her delivery nurses (who I did not recognize but she reminded me who she was and told me, Dr. Archie is well known for skipping on deliveries) She had over 70 hours to come to the hospital, she was down the street (I know the residents kept calling her and she dismissed their requests to show up for my delivery)

Dr. Archie saved my life and my daughter's. she is tremendous.
