Dr. Carol Bland, MD

Dr. Bland is a board-certified family physician with more than 25 years of experience in primary and urgent care medicine. She grew up in West Alexandria, Ohio, and completed both her undergraduate and medical education at Case Western Reserve University, graduating in 1996.She completed her residency training in Family Practice at the Dayton Community Family Practice Residency Program, affiliated with Wright State University, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Kettering Hospital, finishing in 1999.

After residency, Dr. Bland opened a solo family practice in West Alexandria, where she cared for patients from 1999 until 2012. She then joined Premier Health, serving there until 2019. In late 2019, she was elected Chairman of the Department of Family Practice at Miami Valley Hospital, where she provided leadership through early 2020.

Since 2019, Dr. Bland has been a valued member of Hometown Urgent Care, working on the front lines throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to provide critical care to …patients in her community. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to patient-centered, community-based healthcare.
