Dr. Carol Ann Dobrzynski, MD

Dr. Dobrzynski has been my psychiatrist for almost 40 years now. I'm so glad I found her because it has been an incredibly positive experience. She is thorough, kind, and easy to talk to, really listens to things that are going on in my life. When I have questions Dr Dobrzynski will give her advice on ways to overcome obstacles and improve my mental health. I've felt well taken care over the years. She's a great person and doctor. I would recommend her to anyone!

Great if you don’t mind being completely over medicated, and putting on 80+ pounds from meds specifically designed to increase your appetite.

Dr Dobrynski is extremely knowledgeable and is able to relate very well to both her patients and their spouses. She and her staff and very personable and helpful. Highly recommended and this is coming from a nurse who knows how that this area/state is need of additional mental health care providers. It was so refreshing to be cared for by a physician who really cares and has the utmost integrity.

Highly organized and welcoming enough. A bit arrogant, it's her way or the highway, esp with adolescents. Hates the internet, too entrenched in the trial and error process, some people don't have that time to wait. Charges $150 per visit, $600 for the initial intake. Brutal, considering she has you back every 3-4 weeks. She doesn't research new therapies, gene testing, etc. It's all "try this new med, go to talk therapy, see me in a month." She promotes a "suck it up" attitude at times, but then disregards your own self-help research and/ or experiences within yourself. I have done everything "her" way and I am not nearly at optimal levels with my depression. It's been many months, I've tried to get her to try different medical approaches with me, but she waves me off. You can get that kind of treatment anywhere with a $30 copay. This is a case where you don't get what you pay for. Research further options before seeing this doctor.

She keeps a very organized and clean office but she is arrogant and antiquated with her treatment protocol. I have attempted to ask relevant questions regarding my treatment that might be helpful according to journal research and what not. She obviously has no idea what I am even talking about and becomes nasty in order to cover up her ignorance. If you have a basic issue and one med for her to maintain then I would say she is fine because the office is professional . But she is a non thinking doctor and only treats within her little box and tends to lean toward high dosages for sure! My new doctor has me now on half the meds and this is much less side effects and I am much happier. Psychiatry is moving into an entirely different world of treatment protocols and so I would hope that she hops on board and educates herself.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE DR. FOR ANYONE

Dr D is the best. I have seen her since 2011 and my children since 2013. The #1 reason is she is so knowledgeable about medications and I will never take a chance with these types of medications for my children. #2 She will spend as much time as I need with her. #3 She will return my phone calls if I need to speak to her.

Excellent doctor who listens but tells you what needs to be done. Fantastic doctor.

I have worked with doctors, and have taken my son everywhere. They all agree she is an abusive doctor, she stills your money and just gives you meds you don't need to keep you coming back. She purposly makes you addicted to need her. Her employees agree she is horrible and advised me to go somewhere else. One girl said save your son don't come back.
