AWFUL, to sum it up. Dr. Downing was scraping ear wax out of my child's ear today, after I told her we're done, she continued to scrape and caused my 18 month old daughter to bleed a good amount out of her left ear, going to urgent care to access if theres any further damage to her ear drum. Needless we are NEVER going back there, even before this, the way the handle procedures is unconventional and appalling. Also, I will be filing a complaint with the medical board at the very least tonight. I was beyond livid leaving that place.

I love the time she takes with each patient! She very much cares about the child's well being. She talks to them while doing the exam to ease any fears the child may have of the "scarey medical stuff". She has been our family doctor for 10 years and will continue to be their doctor.

Exceptional Dr. If I still live in VA, I'd never want my children to see any other.
