Dr. Carol Anne Fischer, MD

Dr. Fischer’s office manager threatened to call the police on me due to me saying I would be reporting the office to the medical board for refusing to renew a prescription for (gasp) an anti seizure medication. They don’t know ANY of my medical history, and refused to see me the day prior to my appt that had been scheduled for NINE MONTHS. I have posted this exact scenario on Facebook, but it gets deleted every time and I now my profile is “blocked.” Guess we don’t want the people of Cheyenne to know the truth. Lana Sykes technically is who I was scheduled to see. Almost comical how she was highly recommended by the hospital when we first moved here due to the complexity of my medical conditions, however this is not a doctor we would ever trust to treat a patient that has any issues beyond possibly a sinus infection. So sad that an office manager can call a patient derogatory names and get away with it. Guess we will continue to travel over 14 hours away for good medical care and where… doctors actually care about you. Also, whomever is in charge of their social media also went onto my personal page and broadcast my supposed medical information, except the medication she claimed I asked for is a medication I cannot take as my body does not process it properly. What occurred was a hipaa violation, and I will be reporting this to the proper authorities. Why the doctor would be okay with this happening under her name, I will never understand.

Dr. Fischer has been my "go-to" doctor for years and I trust her implicitly with my health. I have had a few health challenges in my life and she is always there to answer my questions and give me her opinion on whatever is going on. If needed, I trust her recommendations on other specialists I should see but always try to keep her informed on any new procedures or medications I am going through, or taking, to keep my health history in one place. She cares! ??

This was a six month follow up

I have been going to see Dr. Fischer for a few years now. She and all of her staff there are wonderful and friendly and every appointment is on time and thorough so I know what I need to be doing to be healthy and be ready for my next appointment. Love this place.

I always feel that Dr. Fischer listens to me. She cares a lot about her patients.

I'd highly recommend her to anyone. She is personable, very sharp and open minded. She is very busy but still makes patients feel important.
