Dr. Carol Ann Foster, MD

I followed all rules set forth by Dr. Foster. Was doing some work for her with AHA and loved my results from her treatment. However, you are bullied into never being not 1 minute late, do as your told or be dropped. I was dropped as a patient because I cancelled an appointment, I had to be at an appointment with my child! I received a letter stating if I do not reschedule I would be dropped. I had a regular appointment already set up so I thought that would be enough. But no, she wanted another scheduled. I was promptly booted from the practice. And of course no medical records to be found as she had just moved from CAMC to private practice, go figure.

She has a strict protocol, but if you follow all her guidelines to the t, she can help you. I am so thankful to be her patient for the past 3 years, she has greatly improved my health and life. Love this doctor.

Dr. Carol Foster is the absolute best what she does. She truly cares about her patients. The personal level of care I have received is over and above any other medical experience I have ever had. She is truly one of a kind! With her guidance, I have made remarkable improvements in the number of migraines I get each month. If you are not prepared to follow her program, then she is not the Doctor for you. She is not your typical pill-pushing Doctor and if that is what your are looking for, definitely look somewhere else. Her guidelines are strict but they WORK! I would highly recommend Dr Carol Foster to any of my family or friends that suffer from migraine or cluster headaches.

Dr. Foster is enthusiastic about her holistic treatment program for migraine disease. If you have an open mind and are willing to follow her program's strict guidelines, you just might find your overall physical and mental well being improved. Her tough love approach is aimed at getting you on a healthy diet and exercise program aimed at detoxifying and weaning you away from known migraine triggers. By following her program, not only have I experienced a decrease in both number and intensity of migraines, I have also lost 40lbs. She has been very responsive to all forms of communication which is rare with doctors today. If you are serious about getting help for your migraine, she's serious about giving it.

Follow her diet if you think it may help you but do not, under any circumstances, go to her office or pay her money. She caused me more headaches than she ever cured! She and her staff were rude. You are forced to pay first before your appointment. That is probably because so many patients leave her office upset and might leave without paying. They threaten to drop you as a patient if you don't visit as often as they want. When I finally had enough of her bullying and wanted to leave with a copy of my records, she tried to charge me a hundred dollars! Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this practice. You don't need to be manipulated, lied to, threatened or betrayed like I was. Worst experience ever with a doctor. She caused me alot of unnecessary angst and tears. Wish I had followed my gut and never returned after my first appointment.

Extremely rude to a family member- immediately changed practices after being treated poorly by Dr. Foster.
