Dr. Carol Marie Kaminskas, MD

I went to this doctor because of the pain I was having during sex. It’s a really frustrating thing to have and was hard for me to talk about. She seemed nice when the appointment first started but she was more passive aggressive than anything. First she basically told me I was a liar when I told her I was leaky after my daughter’s birth because of my C-section. She didn’t bother to ask my why I thought that. It’s because while I did get a C-section my water broke before my appointment and I was in labor for 7 hours and almost had her naturally. This set the tone for the appointment. I told her all the same things I told my regular doctor about a year later. This doctor found nothing! Even though I felt a large lump inside me, she found nothing at all. She told me that maybe I had to poop every time I had sex (and I had told her I’d had this problem for years!) and that’s why it hurt. She said there was nothing she could do for me and that she could refer me to someone else… but they wouldn’t be able to do anything for me either. At that point, I was sitting there sobbing. I fled the appointment before they could schedule my hopeless referral appointment. I was so upset it took me months before I even told my husband. I felt crazy like it was all in my mind. And it took a year until I went back to my regular doctor. I told my regular doctor everything I told Dr Carl Caminskas and she totally and immediately found a cyst! It’s a little smaller than a golf ball and I need surgery. This doctor is just plain negligent.

Had such a good experience having my son with Dr. Kaminskas that I chose her to be my daughter's first GYN years later... That's trust!

i thought I would never get help with menopause, but Dr Kaminskas change my life. Now unable to locate her.

She saved my life in many ways. The best Doctor in my opinion.

No one really likes to go to the doctor. Dr. Kaminskas is quite simply the best. I've never had another doctor who really listens and cares so much. I've seen her annually for years and it never feels like I'm a new client. PS - the office is efficient and well organized, too.

I have been a patient at this office for the last few years but I will not be going back. I made an appt for my yearly check up and asked for a pap smear. Dr K examined me and I thought she did a pap smear. A week or so later I called for my results and was told Dr never did a Pap Smear just a check up. I was surprised because that's why I came for my appointment. I had to come in again for my pap smear and was charged again for another appt. I thought it may have been a miscommunication between the Dr and myself so I just let it go.This week I had to call for an appt for some abnormal bleeding. I was told Dr Kaminskas had no appts and could not see me. They asked me if I would like to see a Nurse Practitioner I said no I would like to see my Dr. I realize the Dr is busy but I was willing to wait up to a week to see her. The gals taking appointments are rude and are not helpful in any way. I left a message for the Office Manager and the Dr, and so far my call has not been returned.

I have been seeing Dr Kaminskas for years. Never a problem with OBGYN, but she has always been thorough and spent time with me. This year I was diagnosed with Leukemia which has nothing to do with her specialty. She immediately called me because of her concern. She is a very caring doctor. I would recommend her to anyone.
