Dr. Carol Ann Lyle, MD

Dr. Lyle helped me put myself first! I was in a dark place without much hope. I’m not saying I still don’t battle with my depression but I’m definitely learning to see life a little brighter.

I did not like this psychiatrist at all. Her staff secretary, or whoever it is that sits up front, has no personality and all she did was switch medication after medication and change my diagnosis from depression to bipolar when I said I couldn't sleep (I am not bipolar by the way). She has horrible follow-up and she is really just all about shuffling one person after another in 15-minute intervals throughout the day.

Dr. Lyle is a very intelligent doctor, but she's very cold and business like. She doesn't inspire confidence, but rather gives you the impression that she would rather be doing something else, which makes it very difficult to tell her exactly how you're feeling. The staff will more or less ignore you, and though I like being called and reminded that I have an appointment, I wish they would call after prescribing new medication to see how it's effecting the patient.

Dr. Lyle's office is very convenient to me and that is important when you are not up to a long drive in heavy traffic. Her office staff is not the most courteous or helpful. The doctor's practice is limited to dispensing and managing medications. This is acceptable to me because I prefer to see a psychologist for therapy. The lack of patient follow-up after a visit is abysmal and needs improvement.

Dr. Lyle is amazing and since going to her, I have improved 100%.
