Dr. Carol Mcintyre, DO

I know at least three other women whose children died during birth because of this woman. My son nearly died during the labour and she would not help me. She refused to allow me pain medication, and when my 10 pound son was stuck and I ask if a C-section was an option she said “I’m not going to give you a C-section just so this can be over” I was in labour for 23 hours with nothing to eat or drink before I finally got him out and had to have a blood transfusion because I lost so much blood, my son was already blue and had to be resuscitated and have oxygen I am convinced that he would’ve died if it would’ve been any longer.

She was wonderful through everything! She explained exactly what she was going to do and was easy to understand! She was very friendly and checked on me.

She lets her religious beliefs about unwed parents get in the way of her services. She is definitely not a good choice for young unwed mothers. I was very upset, I felt that she did not care about the well-being of me or my child simply because I was a young unwed mother.

Dr McIntyre has very good bedside manners, she is friendly and a very pleasant person. She is, however, not a good doctor in my opinion. She thinks that she is the best and could never make an error or have any complications, therefore, when they do happen, she doesn't accept them and doesn't treat them as aggresively as she should to take care of or fix the problems. She makes you feel like you did something wrong for this complication to have happened. She is nice to you as long as you don't ask questions or suggest anything other than what she wants to hear.

Dr McIntyre is probably one of the finest physicians and human beings that I have been fortunate to have as a personal physician. I hope that my luck holds out in the future with all further care by other physicians and hospitals while I am alive! Trusting a physician is very important to me but additionally I have had the blessing to be able to" trust but verify" as I am in the health care field. I hope you will enjoy the care from her and her office staff.

I am in the health care field and have worked with many physicians over the years. Dr. McIntyre is a stand out among others due to her clinical expertise as well as her open manner of communication. She is an excellent surgeon and nurses comment on "how well her patients do after surgery." If a physician has a nurses vote, than I am impressed.
