Dr. Carol B Merkle, DDS

I was so anxious about going to have my root canal but the building was gorgeous, with some beautiful art! The technician was so calming and talked to me like a friend. Carol was amazing! She made sure I was comfortable and felt no pain. I will definitely use her in the future and highly recommend her and the whole staff! ????? -Jordan Smelley

She is one of the best dentist in town

I am dismayed to see some poor ratings from some disgruntled people and reading their comments it seems clear this people have personal issues that are clouding their judgment. I have known Dr Merkle for 20 years and had her perform several root canals. I have never had less than a 5 star experience. I recently consulted her and she diagnosed Trigemenal Neuralgia which she could not treat. She had her office staff call around to refer me to a Neurologist and then personally called me several days later to inquire if I had been taken care of. I think that says it all, don't you?

I just saw Dr Carol Merkle and had a root canal and I have to say nobody likes to have a root canal but this was a quick easy painless experience(It only took 30 minutes)!She and her staff were wonderful! Dr Merkle is the best! I would recommend her to everyone....thank you Dr. Merkle for making my experience in your office a good one!

I had not ever had a root canal had worked myself up letting my nerves get the best of me. She did it in two visit I never felt any pain at all and have never had one problem with it . I can't even tell I have a crown in that tooth's place! I have since had one from my family dentist on a upper tooth nothing but pain and problems , so for now on she will be the only one giving me root canals.

She should have refunded my money because she could not get my root canal clean enough but filled it and walked off in a huff. But she did kept my $2,000. My health deteriorated very quickly over the next 10 years and I am sick to this day.

He took the time with my son who had an issue with sitting still, and made the experience fun for him.

While I did not see Dr. Merkle, I spoke with her receptionist who was not professional and not patient customer care. Would not provide her name, said doctor is on vacation for 2 weeks and only appt is 1 month. She didn't ask the nature of my call, how serious, just asked did I need a root canal. I said yes, I believe so. To wait a month is too long - and when I asked for another referral locally, she hummed and flipped around not having one to provide. While maybe not her duty, I would think Dr. Merkle would have a doctor available for her patience incase of an emergency. I then explained that I needed one quickly and have an absest and told her of my worry and that I would not book Dr. Merkle and mention this incident. How can I go see a root-canal doctor when the receptionist is of poor quality and when I complained, she just said, I'm sorry....and didn't try to send me to an office manager or anyone else. Good Grief......Dr. Merkle comes highly recommended, but I am not only asking… her to be my doctor, but her practice to take care of my medical/insurance needs.
