Dr. Carol Morris, MD

Dr. Morris took care of my mother who had a large mass in her upper thigh and abdomen. As an oncology physician I knew I had to find the best surgeon. After recommendations from colleagues and my own research I flew my mom from the west coast to John Hopkins. It was well worth the trip! Dr. Morris with her expertise felt that this mass could be watched closely with imaging. After approximately 5 years this mass has been stable and my mom has been asymptomatic. Dr. Morris was able to spare my mother an extensive surgery and allow my mom to maintain her great quality of life. Dr. Morris had excellent bedside manners and is physician I can highly recommend. Dr Morris is one of the few surgeons that I’ve had care that is kind and truly listened to what I had to say. She is timely and my procedure went really well.

When I had a concern about a post-op doc not wanting to treat me, she showed appropriate concern and addressed that situation. All my follow up appointments have been encouraging (which often is more than half the healing process). If I ever had to have my bones chiseled, shaved, or sawed...she would be the person I would want managing that operation.
