Dr. Carol M Nibert, MD

De Nibert was very careless. She prescribed a med that I had a severe reaction to. When I called her she told me to go home and sleep. I told her I couldn’t see to drive. She told to me to get someone to drive me. I was having and eye emergency and nearly went blind. I still have defects from that. She never once called to check on me after this incident She must not have read her Dear Dr letter from the drug manufacturer regarding these possible side effects. She should have recognized my symptoms and sent me immediately for help With early treatment maybe I would not have had permanent damage to my eyes. She was very careless and uncaring. I would never recommend her. My care cost me over $10,000 and the clinic she worked for and I also worked for offered me a 10% employee discount. How disgraceful. I don’t call that healthcare at all.

I have been going to Dr Nibert for many years. She is always kind, friendly & willing to listen to any concerns. I love having a female Dr. for my yearly exams & also took my 3 daughters as they were growing up. The visits are always timely & staff are good about calling back. I highly recommend her!

I feel very judged when I go see her. She also comes off as very cold and aloof which makes me uncomfortable. Even though she is a good doctor, I feel that patient rapport is everything. I will be getting a new Dr.

Our familiy has gone to her for over 10 years. She was really good for many, many years. But something has happened in the last 5 years where she isn't the same doctor she was. She definitely has lost her compasion that she once had for her patients. Also, seems like her diagnostic abilities have slipped a little the last few years. It seems like she would give a prescription for anything to try to fix an issue, when all the medicine does is cover up the issue. If one medicine doesn't work, she tries another, then another. I'm all about being conservative, but wow!!! If there are some test that can rule out or prove what the issue is, that should be done before you definitely try a second drug. Anyway thats my two cents. We may be searching for a new doctor soon.
