Dr. Carol Palmieri, MD

very profesional and courteous.

After waiting for more than 2 hours to be seen by Dr Palmieri at STAT Health in Port Jefferson, I found her to be rude, distracted, and unprofessional. She barely made eye contact, and talked down to me the entire time I was there. When I asked her a question, the answers were vague and rushed. I felt that she just didnt care, and just wanted to move on to her next patient. Honestly, this was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. She charged me $780, and spent less than 2 minutes in the room. I would advise against see her.

I was referred to this priority clinic by my OBGYN, as my sinus congestion and allergies were intolerable. After having spent over an hour waiting to be seen, i was HIGHLY disappointed. This doctor sat in her chair and without any physical check (listening to my heart, feeling for a potential sinus infection, looking into my ears, feeling the sinus areas, etc.)After just listening to me explain my symptoms of not being able to breathe and having had heart palpitations, she diagnosed me as having had pregnancy sinus issues and that there was nothing she could give me. I left the office completely frustrated, annoyed and disappointed. With no physical examination of any kind, how can a "MD" disgnose?? I will never return to that clinic and will advise everyone i know of the poor service there.
