Dr. Carol Salzman, MD

Dr. Salzman is a superb physician. She has a great manner with patients, is reassuring, and spends whatever time is needed to resolve the issue. She responds to phone calls quickly and may even come to the phone when you call, if she is free. This often means not having to make a trip into the office, which can be inconvenient.

Seeing Dr. Salzman was a complete waste of my time and a hazard to my health! Simply put she was incompetent! I had a life threatening infectious disease and she did nothing to help me. I waited to see her for 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time and when I did see her and attempt to explain my signs and symptoms to her she was rude, condescending and obnoxious. My internal medicine doctor referred me to Dr. Salzman for an infectious disease consult but Dr. Salzman was so inept that she did not send a consultation letter to the doctor who referred me to her. I went to another infectious disease doctor and my infectious disease was correctly diagnosed and treated with a combination of antibiotics. Too bad that I wasted my time with an appointment with Dr. Salzman.
