Dr. Carol Ann Schiel, MD

This doctor is awful. practicing outside of her scope. mean to parent and disrespectful to other professionals. Will never go back to her again and will tell everyone how awful she is.

Horrible bedside manner, was short and rude to my five year old daughter, spent less than five minutes with her, didn't treat our concerns with any care and was very arrogant and blew us off. I feel her diagnosis was not accurate as she did not run any tests or take any samples, and they "ran out" of the medicine for her diagnosis.

Misdiagnosed as depressed was told to go to school the next day that my breathing problems were in my head. Next day was flown out of the er with pulmonary embolus and deep vein blood clotting. If I'd listened to her advice and ignored my symptoms I'd be dead.

Staff is nice enough, but no one gives very good sirection in going from one area to the next, so we kept waiting in different areas when we should have been told where to go. Dr.Schiel treated us like we were idiots, but thankfully just referred us out if the office. She knows her stuff, just has a poor personality, especially for working with chronically ill children. My child has shot anxiety and the staff dealt poorly with that situation.
