Dr. Carol L Schmidt, MD

Dr. Schmidt has cared for my family for several years. She is a caring and competent physician. We have never experienced any problem getting an appointment to consult with her whenever necessary. She takes time to explain health concerns and has always directed us to specialty physicians when needed.

I seen her once as a patient, thought she would be the perfect doctor for me, but that was 2 years ago. I just tried to schedule an appointment to review my test results after a hospital visit, and was told by her office was that I'm not considered a patient anymore because of the lapse in time since my last visit, and now I would be considered a new patient. Then the office person who answered the phone informed me that they were are not accepting any new patients at this time until another doctor is hired in the practice. Looking for a new medical practice now. I never received any notice from her office in regards to my patient status. I was just told to look for another doctor.

I’m so disappointed in this office. They do not care about their patients. Called a month ago. I was very sick (I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and phenomena from urgent care). The office told me they were sorry to hear how sick I was and to try urgent care because they wouldn’t be able to see be for another week. Called a few weeks later, explaining I was still having a problem. Nurse told me to go back to urgent care since they didn’t see me for original issue. I called again today. I was told. Nothing they could do and she would send a referral for an ENT. I explained my discomfort and was told so sorry but there is nothing they could do. Since I was unhappy they said, we will have Dr. Schmidt call you. That was 10am this morning. I never heard a thing. I did go back to urgent care and was given a stronger medication. I thought drs offices reserved time slots for sick patients??!!! I would NOT recommend this practice!!!
