Dr. Carol Grammer Stull, MD

I went with Dr. Stull because I was pregnant and needed to get in to get in to "verify" the pregnancy for insurance purposes. The doctors I wanted of course had a long wait but she had openings so I took it. The first appointment she was friendly enough but her pelvic exam was the most uncomfortable I have ever had (and I've seen quite a few OB/Gyns). But I gave her the benefit of the doubt and continued to see her throughout my pregnancy. Each appointment I was disappointed at her promises to "talk to me next time" about important matters (which of course meant I never received any input from her because it was put off every time). She never even asked me if I had questions or concerns...no kidding. Halfway through the pregnancy there were some potential complications that she explained very poorly, leaving me sleepless and desperately concerned. I finally had to call in and talk to a nurse for some clarification. Then the next appointment I had to almost literally stop her… from running out of the room with her "You look good, we'll see you in a month" spill so that I could ask her some questions about the complication. I had had enough and told her I was thinking of switching to another hospital. I should have done it but because of the potential complication she convinced me to stay closer to the more advanced NICU. She kicked up the service a bit for the next couple appointments but by the end of the pregnancy it was poor again. By then it seemed too late to switch anyway so I just sucked it up and stayed there (another mistake). She had little respect for my desire for a natural birth and I ended up with a hellish induced labor (unmedicated) that she wasn't even present for. She just showed up at the end to check me for tearing. She 'cleaned me up' in the most harsh way...I literally started crying and pulling away from her, wondering why no one was stopping the woman. I had just fought bravely through my second natural birth, this one a completely out-of-control induction that was the hardest thing I'd ever physically done in my life and it was the pain of her scraping me down postpartum that finally broke me. Overall I was very disappointed in the care I received. She would chit chat with me about trivial things sometimes and seemed compassionate in some ways but physically she was not gentle at all (and I'm no baby). She also was not interested in any patient education regarding pregnancy and is not very driven to support patients seeking a natural birth. Hopefully my story will help someone else receive a more satisfying birth experience. I've sure learned my lesson!

She is very professional, and I trust her and didnt take doula because I knew that she will be there with me. Two weeks before my due day she told me she is traveling day before my due day. She told me that if I will not have birth until then one of her college Dr will be there with me. We scheduled appointment on her last day and she said she will be there for sure. Night before I had small amount of amniotic fluid leak and they decided that I will have to stay at the hospital. She didnt show up the day later, they never canceled my appointment with her, she just decided to take day off, she said later.she didnt send any college of her, and the only Dr that came was Dr Jonson from their other clinic that was on shift, and was disturb to come to me as we felt. in the morning, that didnt know me, didnt reading my birth plan, and treat me without giving me choices that I will risk my baby if I will not have pitocin. Also, when we asked him to call Dr Stull and told him we have an… appointment with here, I remember his answer She is not available.In that point I really needed Dr Stull or someone who knew me, and they showed up only at 7 pm when they were called, the pitocin made titanic contraction and no one noticed although I begged the nurses to lower it . I was left alone on my important day!!!!and then it was too late, the Dr that was on call decided that its OK to have epidural when I had 8 cm dilatation, my babies hurt rate dropped to 85 because of it and they took me to the operation room.Everything was perfect in my pregnancy, It wasnt supposed to be c section, the risked my baby, and I wasnt suppose to get depression couldnt deal with this story for a year, now I Ok, pregnant again but not at Dr Stull's clinic, The WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE ASSOCIATES

Pretty good as far as doctors and surgeons go. I had a complication after surgery and she was gone the next day, the doctor on call wouldn't do anything for me because that wasn't "standard". When I finally saw her again and I told her about it. She apologized for the lack of care I receive when she was gone and said my situation needed attention. So although I was left in extreme pain for two weeks...the others in the office suck, she was OK
