Dr. Carol R Weinberg, MD

When I presented in the office with severe abdominal cramping for the second time in 4 days (over-weekend confinement to hospital for IV antibiotics), she notified local hospital ER of my pending arrival, lined up dual contrast CT, gastroenterologist, surgeon and oncologist within 5 minutes, AND offered to have ambulance transport to hospital (less than 1 mile from office). Saved my life as diagnosis was stage 3C colon cancer. 6 years on and I'm very healthy again. Down to earth and willing to talk about things in your life that are going on. I've found that following her regimen recommendations (once a year physical including blood work, complete run down of all meds your taking, annual flu shot, update on your exercise routine) will result in fewer visits to office. Staff is well versed in her regimen and can take over for her for simple issues. Staff can be short with you depending on their office load.

Because she's a caring doctor, she spends time with each patient which sometimes puts her behind.

Dr. Weinberg is an excellent physician who cares enough about her patients to sit and talk with them. She doesn't just give you a prescription and shove you out the door. She also encourages you to be proactive regarding your own health care. If you are overweight you will be told to exercise and change your diet, if you smoke she will tell you to quit. Some people might not like this but it is the responsible thing for a doctor to do. In the 15 years I have been seeing her she has been spot on with all her diagnoses, catching things other MD's missed.

I do not recommend this doctor. Very rude.

She has been seeing myself and my wife for years. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Weinberg is pleasantly listening, sometime joking, and adds a personal touch with her patients.You are in good hands: she explains how she makes her diagnosis and does not leave you in the dark.
