Dumped a long time patient for being bipolar. Bipolar patients need medical physians too!

Dr. Wood and staff are great. I have always had an easy time getting an appt. Dr. Wood is great at explaining what is going on and the options. She has saved my active life style with my hormonal therapy.

This was my first time to Dr. Wood's office. The front desk was receptive. From what I can remember, the med assistant was good as well. I'm switching to her as well for my ob/gyn care. Dr. Wood was friendly, answered my questions and did not rush me. I hope they don't change, because I feel one of the most important qualities in a doctor office is the attitude of the staff. I'm very pleased.

I am a fairly new patient. The ease of getting an appointment was great. The office staff is by far the most helpful that I have ever encountered. They will help you in any way imaginable. The location of the office if perfect. The environment or setting rather, is very relaxing, charming, clean, & private. I received a lot of very sincere, professional, and complete health care for just my co-pay amount. Dr. Wood knows her craft through & through. When its your time to see her, all eyes are on you, and there is NO RUSHING through your visit. She is far from average & she is the most thorough physician I have ever visited. Keep in mind, I do not like going to doctors period & have never received sincere/complete care until meeting her. Before, I felt like I was just a dollar to other doctors, and therefore, I seldom went. I have only gone to her office once and it was for a traumatic, sudden, unknown illness that she figured out within less than 5 minutes when the ER could not… figure something so simple out at all ! If I knew she existed before a failed & extremely expensive ER trip, I would have gone to her sooner! My life is back to normal because of her. She is very "Doctory" - I know its not a word, but it describes her well, and it is a compliment. She knows everything there is to know about health and medicine. The only Con I have is that I was asked to take a picture, and I later regretted it because I was not sure what it was for, and I got nervous & thought, if I ever develop an embarrassing health issue, I may not feel I can be as honest or go there, because I would be too scared the illness description will be written next to my picture. I really don't want my face near my medical records if that is where it was placed. I am extremely private by nature. Aside from the picture concern, she is an excellent doctor. After years of uncaring male doctors, who rushed in and out, its nice to finally have a highly trained, sincere, "thorough," doctor who actually cares. She's the best that I have ever had and I have lived all over the country. In closing, Dr. Wood understands that younger women can get sick. She understands that not every young woman is pregnant or suffering from anxiety, but that young women can have health issues. I would recommend her for anyone, especially women 18-38.

Dr. Wood took the time and effort required to diagnose my blood disorder that for many years was overlooked. I appreciate her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor that cares about their patients.

This doctor will give you a prescription for a child even if they aren't sick. Was given one and told "take this in case she gets sick".

Dr Wood is a great person to work with. She is straight forward and does not beat around the bush. She talks with you until you understand what is going on and helps you through the process. I would recommend anyone to her. The staff is wonderful. They take good care of you and are always friendly when I go in.

Front Office was awesome...Nurse was very unpleasent..rude, angry at patient who had left before me, she was not friendly at all! The doctor was nice.

Dr. Wood is a good doctor. With all the attributes a good doctor should have. I grew to trust her and her medical expertise. I saw Dr. Wood for over a year on a regular basis and never once felt that I was being rushed thru and that the staff was trying to hurry me in and out. Very modern, very up to date.
