I have the misfortune of seeing this woman three different times. The first meeting that I went, which is only because I do need medication for anxiety, she berated me for being 10 minutes late even though I had told the front desk that I had a doctors appointment downstairs and that I might be a few minutes late. She then asked me questions and judged me every step of the way and acted as if she was trying to find something wrong. After 30 mins, she said “you have a personality disorder” I didnt even know what it was. so I quickly called my therapist who has known me for years she said that was ridiculously wrong and very unprofessional. Second time i came, the elevator was broken. (I only came back because i needed medication and i was told i wouldnt have to deal with her very often.) I had to walk up to the 4 the floor so i was a a few minutes late, she scowled at me wrote prescriptions and sent me on my way. The third time, i ran up the 4 flights was exactly one minute late….… Literally and she made me sit there for 15 mins, pulled me in said she had to reschedule me because I was late. When I defended myself, she scolded me like a child and would not see me. I lost my temper and yelled at her and she looked at me like I was crazy. This woman SHOULD NOT BE IN MENTAL HEALTH she is abusing her power to further her ego and put people down. please do not go to her

I was having a pleasant day until I had my first, and last appointment with her. During my appointment she asked about how many rooms I had in the house and how many bathrooms my wife cleans. Carolann likely didn’t know men can do chores too. She threw everything but the kitchen sink at me, my livelihood, my pets, my family. Well she didn’t like that too much and decided to rail into my weight. Which is a prime example of the pot calling the kettle metal. Now I’m guessing based off her office decor, which looks like a Hobby Lobby threw up. Rent may be too high, so she may be trying to live in the head of her patients rent free. Maybe having her glass house is nice and all, but Nurse Brooks really needs to stop throwing stones. Thank you very little, you’re welcome even less.

Manipulating, dishonest, controlling & racist Brooks has OCD fear of difference & quickly classifies difference as pathology. Obviously chose profession because of tragic personal history & enjoys power over Others much like a sadistic dominatrix. Office looks like QVC & Michael’s Craft store vomited seaside resort. Go somewhere else. Run!

I've been seeing her for over a year. If you are willing to put in the work and face the fact that getting help is not a walk in the park then she is a great choice! Highly recommend, just stick with the process, she wants you to be level, she wants you to thrive, it will challenge you but that's how you grow.

It was aweful. You don’t drag people down.
