Dr. Carole Wendy Agin, MD

Had a severe crippling stenosis one year ago. Dr Agin saved my life!!! I was in excruciating pain for 2 months, couldn't walk, couldn't sleep couldn't get out of the house. My orthopedist recommended that I see the surgeon to consider surgery. I chose not to pursue this option. I refused to get started with pain medication and turned to my personal physician for some advise. Dr Agin's name came up as a renowned pain management Doctor and I saw her for consultation as soon as I was able to get an appointment. Dr Agin was very compassionate and understanding of my situation and my feelings about surgery and drugs. Dr. Agin discussed my options and offered the option of Acupuncture. I was told by Dr Agin that my chances to respond to acupuncture are 50/50 but thought it was worth trying. I started therapy treatment with Dr Agin and had my first treatment on a Monday. On the following Saturday morning I got up without any pain. This was a miracle for me. I had a series of… treatments and resumed my normal life with almost no pain. I recently returned for a follow up and additional treatment as I experienced some low level pain. Dr Agin was there supportive and kind as usual and performed her magic again after the first treatment. I recommend Dr. Agin full heatedly. Amazing doctor.

Dr Agin is an amazing doctor. My mom has been to many doctors for severe arthritis and no one could help her with her pain-until Dr Agin. She is very knowledgeable but also kind and compassionate.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Agin for years (for chronic pain). She truly cares for her patients. She fought for me with my insurance company to get the treatment I needed. Dr. Agin is a great choice!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Agin for 4 years. She is caring, compassionate and always friendly. She works to get my debilitating pain under control and when I’m feeling better she helps me to adjust my medications accordingly. I appreciate all that Dr. Agin does to help me feel good and I would highly recommend her to any person who suffers with uncontrollable pain.

Dr. Agin is a very caring, extremely knowledgeable doctor who listens to your every concern and works hard to get to the root of a problem and solve or diminish it. I have been a patient of Dr. Agin's for many years and she always knows how to calm me and reassure me that she is there to help me and continue to be by my side until my issues are dimished. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a highly competent and extremely kind pain management specialist.

i agree with the review of the person that posted on May 28, 2017. didn't help me or cared after going to her for years.....in my opinion see someone else...she treated me like garbage.....she was going to send me for the wrong injections....also, her nurse was very rude and unprofessional.

my opinion : she doesn't care what you have to say---SHE is the doctor. my treatment from her was very poor. she cares more about herself than treating the patient..i was told that she pays the organization that gives her the "best doctor award".. that is how a lot of doctors get the awards. she treated me like garbage and didn't help me.... she just got me dependent on pain medicine..it was very easy to get plenty of pain pills.

Dr. Carole Agin knows her job in finding what is ailing her patient, besides directing the patient to what is needed to help with the source and pain of the health problems. Just as important, she is caring , warm, and humble, offering unscheduled phone contacts by her or her patient to help ease the stress and get additional information if wanted or needed.
