Dr. Carole A Medvesky

Dr. Carole Medvesky first knew she wanted to become a dentist during her high school years when in Western Pennsylvania she excelled in Science and Math. Knowing that Dental school offered a highly challenging curriculum, she chose to attend Washington & Jefferson College, a competitive liberal arts college known for its pre-professional school acceptance record.
Dr. Medvesky majored in Biology and graduated cum laude. Her next achievement was graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with a prestigious award from the American Equilibration Society.
After completing her education at the University of Pittsburgh, she completed her postgraduate training in a one-year General Practice Internship in Tampa, FL. During this training period, Dr Medvesky benefited from the opportunity to study under many talented and inspiring mentors in the dental community.
In 1985 Carole came to Clearwater to practice dentistry, and provide Gentle Personal Care to all her …patients. Her love of the profession is evident in her ongoing interest in Continuing Education. This includes memberships in several local study clubs, as well as state and national societies, to augment her knowledge, skills and passion for Dentistry.
She was recognized by the Florida Academy of General Dentistry for completing hours of continuing education well above the required amount. Dr Medvesky still maintains active membership status in American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and Upper Pinellas Dental Association. She also regularly volunteers her services at Gulf Coast Dental Outreach in Palm Harbor, a facility dedicated to the care of the indigent.
Dr Medvesky enjoys presenting to elementary school classrooms regarding the importance of dental health, as well as dental health updates at Assisted Living Facilities.
For the past three years, she has served as a Sea Glass Sponsor for the Florida Suncoast Hospice Foundation’s annual Beach Stroll.
Maintaining a standard “above the standard of care” is a never ending goal for Dr Medvesky. As technology has advanced over the years, so has her practice. She remarks: “Dentistry today is not what we experienced growing up. We have so many resources at our disposal for educating, coaching, diagnosing, and treating that were not available even twenty years ago. This is an exciting time to be a dentist and we pride ourselves in the manner in which we treat each patient. I want them to know I would offer them the same quality care as I would my own family members.”

Earlier this year, her practice received an Award of Excellence from PATIENT FYI, whereby patients have acknowledged her office for providing excellent service within the areas of Patient Communication, Practice Capabilities, and Treatment Results.
