Dr. Carole Ellen Thomas, MD

Ridiculous place. Cancelled our appointment 7 minutes prior to appointment time the first time. Second time could not see us as we waited downstairs for someone to take our temperature for Covid and this made us late. We took personnel time off from work to get our 90 year old mother there. Never again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carole E. Thomas for several years. She is a patient listener and I found her analysis and diagnosis to be straight forward and accurate. Dr. Thomas prescribed medication for my tremors and for my lack of energy and balance she prescribed Physical Therapy. Both treatments have been very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas as one of the best doctors in her field.

I went to Dr. Carole Thomas for vertigo that I was having and hearing loss, as well as, memory loss and confusion. She dismissed it as "stress", and told me that I ought to quit my job, and get some exercise, and get the stress out of my life. Easier said than done. How am I supposed to function without a job? Only because I pushed that it was something with my ear, she sent me for testing-- to "shut me up", and it was determined that I did not have positional vertigo. When I went in for the follow up, she said, "See. I told you that you didn't have something wrong with you. This is just stress. Are you doing the things that I told you to do? Did you quit your job? Are you getting exercise." I said that I wasn't convinced that it was stress. A friend had told me about Meniere's Disease, and I asked if the doctor would refer me to an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. She refused. I said that I had some some research on the internet and she stopped me there and said, "See this diploma? See my… white coat? That means I'm the doctor, and you're not. Stay off the internet." So, I got an E.N.T. on my own, and he determined that I had Meniere's Disease!!! Never again going to this patronizing doctor and I don't recommend her at all.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Thomas. She was an excellent listener and very knowledgeable. She is just lovely . She understands my condition and has given me a lot of helpful information.

Dr.Thomas was extremely rude, nasty, uncaring, and had terrible bedside manner. A family member saw her twice and she was very nasty both times. Instead of taking time to listen to my family members symptoms and complaints, she pretty much dismissed her symptoms like they were nothing. She spent more time worrying about what over the counter medications she was taking then about how she could help my family member. She rudely treated the both of us for no reason. Do not go to Dr. Thomas if you are looking for someone to actually help you with your symptoms and health issues!!

I was sooo pleased with Dr. Carole Thomas. She went beyond my expectations. She was smart, very nice, an excellent listener and reviewed my records thoroughly and subsequently honed in on all my intricate neurological issues. My husband saw Dr. Thomas because he was having speech and other problems. She told him he was just bored. 5 months later we went for a second opinion because it was getting worse and we could tell there was something wrong. he was diagnosed with FTD dementia.

I knew of Dr. Thomas' professional reputation well before she ever became my personal neurologist, in fact, long before I ever expected to need one. When I became her patient, I knew I was not just in excellent medical hands, but I also learned just how kind and compassionate a physician she is, and I now recommend her to everyone, based on my wonderful personal experience as her patient.

Rude and "bothered" by the inconvenience of my presence. She really needs to find a new career.

I have had three visits with Dr. Thomas in three months. She is extremely competant, knowledgeable, and above all, kind and compassionate. I have never had a physician who is a better listener and communicator.
