Dr. Carolina Arevalo, MD

I have observed Dr. Arevalo's work for years and she is always a caring, well prepared and insightful provider.

I am a veteran and voluntarily stayed at the VA Hospital a couple days to detox from a medicine I was coming off. I didn't think it was a big deal, but Dr. Carolina Arevalo would not let me voluntarily leave after a few days without getting an injection of something called Invega Sustenna, which is a powerful anti-psychotic for schizophrenia, something that I absolutely did not suffer from, and the medicine stays in your system for over a year. I was told it would help for Anxiety and that it had basically zero side effects. What a lie. I almost suffered a heartattack within three days of the shot and was hospitalized locally. Also, as a result of getting the injection, my testosterone production has completely shutdown, I've gained 25 lbs. so far and am now on testosterone therapy at 35. I feel like death pretty much every day I wake up now and still have about 8 months before this poison is even out of my system. I was healthy and went to the gym daily before, but now I sleep… 18 hours a day, don't have the energy to get out of bed, and suffer from anhedonia, unable to experience joy or pleasure from any of the activities I used to do. My life has been completely destroyed and I am a shadow of my former self. I can't even imagine how many other veterans lives she has ruined with forced injections, but I'm guessing it's a lot. I am unable to experience any emotions now except anger and hate since the medicine blocks dopamine. I have lost the will to live and feel like my brain has been permanently damaged from what she did to me. I would give anything to go back in time and not meet this evil witch. There are a couple things you'd be better off doing than going to Dr. Carolina Arevalo for medical help. You would be better off tying a noose and hanging yourself in the garage. You would be better off putting a gun in your mouth and eating a bullet. You would even be better off covering yourself in chum from head to toe and trying to sail across the Atlantic on a raft poorly constructed of rotting whale carcasses. Just take my word and stay as far away from her as possible.
