Dr. Caroline O Abolade, MD

This PLACE IS HORRIBLE. I READ ONE OF THE COMMENTS THAT DESCRIBED EXACTLY HOW I FELT. IF YOU ARE BLACK DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! ESPECIALLY NOT TO Dr. Caroline Abolode. SHE IS THE WORST. ON MY FIRST VISIT WITH HER SHE OVERTALKED ME, SHE TOLD MY MOM AND ME THAT BASICALLY IM CRAZY AND DUMB FOR NOT REMEMBERING THE MEDS I TOOK OVER 15 YEARS AGO, SHE DISCLOSED OTHER PATIENTS INFORMATION TO MYSELF, WHICH MADE ME SKEPTICAL TO TELL HER MY INFO, SHE MISSED HER VIRTUAL AND PHPNE CALL APPOINTMENTS WITH ME EXCEPT 1, SHE GIVES MEDS EVERY MONTH WITHOUT KNOWING HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE MEDS LIKE I AM AN EXPERIMENT,AND WHEN I EXPRESS TO HER MEDS SHE GIVES ME ARE NOT WORKING OR MY OTHER DOCTORS SAY THEY DO NOT WORK WELL WITH MY OTHER MEDICATION AND ARE WEAK SHE GETS CONFRONTATIONAL AND OVERTALKED YOU AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE NO ONE ON EARTH WANTS TO HELP YOU REFUSE TO GIVE YOU YOUR MEDS OR NEW MEDS THEN DISCHARGE YOU. THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE AND I WILL MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS HOW HORRIBLE THIS PLACE… IS WITH A BAD SCORE. SHE TREAT BLACKS LIKE EXPERIMENTS. READ THE COMMENTS AND SEE HOW MANY MULTIPLE COMMENTS SOUND THE SAME AND ABOUT THIS ONE DOCTOR.

I have probably been seeing Dr. Abolade for well over 10 years and have never taken the time to say that she is wonderful. I’ve never had a bad appointment even if I was feeling my lowest. I would highly recommend her.

As someone who actively lives to fight their psych disorders... this doctor was dangerous to my recovery process. I had anxiety going to see her. She was rude, inappropriate, and should not be practicing within mental health services. Going to see her was completely dehumanizing. I had to leave because seeing and speaking to her was like walking into the arms of a bully who belittles those who she is suppose to help. Oh yeah, she put me on medications that made the mania worse and me sicker. I found a new place that has actually helped me. Please think a lot before you go to see this doctor. I regret ever walking into that office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abolade for 5+ years and honestly without her I don't believe I'd be alive today or at least not living the quality of life I'm able to live because of her care and expertise. She has helped me manage my mental health throughout various stages of life, from transitioning into a career and back out, after I had my first child, and just as I try to manage being a wife, mother, student and employee while living with a mental illness. I trust Dr. Abolade and I can't say that with all health care providers. She has always placed my best interests at the forefront of the care provided, even when I wasn't able to want the best for myself - that is unheard of outside of family (and sometimes rare w/family)! Dr. Abolade and the staff at Grace Point Behavioral have become just that to me, family...because of the care and time they take with their patients to ensure they feel welcomed and receive the best medical care. I truly appreciate Dr. Abolade and so does my… family. Without her I wouldn't be able to be the woman I am today and for that I am forever grateful! *To add context of this review, I'm a 30 year old Black female/Christian Highlands MGY /married/homeowner/mother of one/Master's degree.* I've worked with a lot of medical providers and to find one like Dr. Abolade is truly a blessing. I have a new beginning since seeing Dr. Abolade. Sometimes the things holding us back are psychological and not physical. Depression and mental health are real. If you want to make a change and take care of all of yourself (meaning mind) go see her. You will not be disappointed. I was reluctant to go. I was ashamed. However, this was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Best Psychiatrist in the area!

I love this office. Office staff are very friendly. The office is very cozy and home like which i like, makes me feel comfortable where most offices are cold like and beautiful decor. Dr. Abolade is awesome, she tells you the truth not what you want to hear or just give you what you ask for because you said so, that was was a problem for me at first but i had to think about that because I am not the Dr., she is and that's why I came to her in the first place to help me not hinder me.

Dr. Abolade has been an incredible and by far the best doctor I have seen. Dr. Abolade has really taken the time to understand what I am going through. She has taken the time to adequately prescribe the right medications for me . Since seeing Dr. Abolade my symptoms have improved and I feel like a new person. Being able to live life day to day without a constant feeling of fear and overwhelming anxiety has been wonderful. I wish I would have came to Dr. Abolade long ago! I recommend Dr. Abolade to anyone that needs help! Hands down best Dr. on this side of town!!!
