She earned her MD with Research Distinction from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital - Miami Veterans Affairs - University of Miami Health System in Miami, Florida prior to finishing her fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology at the University of California, Irvine.
