Caroline Schreiber, MD

Dr. Schreiber is rarely available and so why is she not only practicing family medicine but the ucsf Muir Berkeley outpatient medical director if she is only there 3 days a week. She was on extended holiday while I suffered. She said to call her the next day regarding a prescription but she forgot that she doesn't work on Friday so I was left stranded and had a lousy three day weekend. The other doctor there was apparently too busy to call me as I was promised by staff. When I finally got seen by dr. Schreiber after her long vacations she had forgotten what medication she had prescribed me before her vacations and was not interested in my concern of the drug's serious side effects I was experiencing. Also, their online system is a mess. Referrals go through a convoluted process at ucsf. You can't easily get your records which is frustrating and delays diagnosis and treatment. Go elsewhere and save yourself some grief.
