Summary

About Caroline

When there are doctors, nurses and pharmacists scattered throughout your family, chances are good you’ll aspire to a career in medicine. That was the case for Caroline Walters. "I always knew I wanted to work in medicine," she says. "But I didn’t know what a PA was until after I completed my undergrad education."

Caroline chose the ENT specialty because it of its complexity. "ENT includes many different organ systems," she explains. "There’s so much to learn." She chose to practice at Beacon because of the care they demonstrate for their employees and their community. "I wanted to join an organization that works to expand healthcare access, and Beacon proves that they’re doing that."

She believes one of the most important duties in healthcare is to help those who need it, and do it with a positive, welcoming and determined attitude. "I aim to provide an environment where the patient is comfortable and can trust me with their health concerns –– they can count on me to get the job done compassionately, using the best knowledge available, and with their best interests in mind."
