Dr. Carolyn Chong was born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science from the University California at Davis and then continued her education at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. degree. She returned home to Hawaii and spent two years practicing dentistry with her father before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she completed her endodontic residency at the University of Minnesota. There she earned her Specialty Certification in Endodontics and a Masters degree in 2004. Following her two year endodontic residency, Dr. Chong moved to California and joined Berkeley Endodontics.
Dr. Chong is currently a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the California State Association of Endodontists, American and California Dental Association and Berkeley Dental Society. She currently serves on the Berkeley Dental Society as …a Board Director (since 2005) and is a volunteer faculty member at the UCSF School of Dentistry Division of Endodontics.
