Dr. Carolyn Ann Kollar, DO

In October 2022, I was seen by Dr. Kollar and recieved excellent service from her, however the service received from her front office staff has jot been the same. I reached out to the office December 18, 2022 regarding a reimbursement and was told on December 19, 2023 that the situation would be resolved and reimbursement issued. On January 23, 2023, I reached out again inquiring about the reimbursement and received no response, even though I can see that someone read the message. This is unacceptable and I will never seek service from this practice again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Carolyn A. Kollar for over 12 yrs. I have never had a prob with Dr. Kollar. She’s always very professional, knowledgeable of her job, ALWAYS has a EAR for LISTENING & a SHOULDER to CRY on. She’s always extremely patient. But I had a death in my family someone very dear to my heart. I went for a visit to Dr.Kollar and I have insurance and I felt my insurance covered everything. I was under a lots of stress and always trying to find another place to live. Stress take me from work. I saw a letter one day and respond back to one of the ladies at the front desk. I ask why are you sending me bills my insurance covers all my visits. She said it did cover this one. I said it normally does. She said if you don’t pay it bk the end of the month it will be sent to collections. I said I don’t have a problem paying $29.62 (really). I said I’m on a fixed income now and I just got a new bank card and it’s not working. So I have to find a way to the bank becuz my… transmission is out in my car. I asked her if she could wait until the 3rd of the month and I would sent a m/o. She said no ... I sent the money order anyway and she sent it back. I left messages on the v.m. of Dr. Kollar’s asst. & also spoke with Dr. Kollar’s asst. and Cynthia at the front desk. I left messages several times for Dr. Kollar to call me back. Up to this very day I haven’t heard ANYTHING from her. I DON’T think Dr. Kollar is a person who doesn’t forgive. And I dot think she’s aware that I wanted to speak with her. I received a letter in the mail with my m/o and a note reading appts will not be rescheduled. I just don’t think Dr.Kollar is aware of the situation. And she’s a more understanding person than what I’m hearing. It’s hard to find a good caring Doctor that you can truly trust. That’s knowledgeable of their job. And I’m very hurt that the staff won’t let me speak with Dr. Kollar or give her my messages. It’s like parting ways with a family member over something so small. If anyone is reading this please understand that I luv my doctor. And by No Mean would I ever talk bad about her. I just don’t understand why her staff is treating me this way .... I’ve been a patient for over 12yrs. I will continue to keep the faith that I will hear from Dr.Kollar again and she’ll continue to be my doctor. May God Continue to bless her business. I am 65 years old, so have seen many different doctors throughout my lifetime. Dr. Kollar is by far my favorite! She is professional and caring, an excellent listener and very easy to talk to. I only wish I had a primary care doctor who was half as good!

Best doc I have ever had

I always hated that yearly appointment because it was awkward and painful. I don't have that anxiety anymore. I became pregnant with my first child and moved with my husband to Mansfield. She got me in as a new patient and laid out the plans for my healthy pregnancy from day 1. She has since delivered my 3 children safely and healthy. The issues you have are ALWAYS addressed, she has the best bedside manner, she genuinely cares about her patients and their well being. I have referred several of my friends, even my own mom to her. I will NEVER go to anyone else as long as she practices, the absolute best doctor I have ever had.

I have been going to Dr. Kollar for about 6 years now. She is very easy to talk to and addresses each of your concerns. She delivered my first child and for that I am forever grateful! I will never seek out another Ob/Gyn so long as she is in practice! She is the absolute best!
