My wife had surgery at an in-network surgery center. We were told the price of said surgery based on our insurance plan and all seemed well. Weeks later we received a claim that was "out-of-network" from Dr. Kurylas for more then $2k. The hospital never informed that she was considered out of network, she did not inform us she was out of network, and there wasn't a choice provided in regards to who the anesthesiologist would be. She's likely just taking advantage of a broken system (why on earth would anyone ever expect in an in-network facility to receive out-of-network care) - but I'm not sure how this woman sleeps at night.

Not sure how anyone would ever even know to look this up beforehand - but similar to other reviewers... we had an in network surgery center perform services and she was the assigned anesthesiologist - not a choice. Now sending us a bill for over $2k because she is "out-of-network." Honestly how do people like this sleep at night.

DO NOT USE!!!! I got a colonoscopy 2 years ago(2018), it was supposed to be 100% covered by my doctor. Everyone in that hospital was in my network except for her apparently. I refuse to pay you thousands of dollars for someone that shouldn't have cost me a penny. This lady takes advantage of those needing testing/surgery. When I went into my colonoscopy I was told I wouldn't need to pay anything and that EVERYTHING would be covered. Very misleading. Would have never went with her if I was aware, guess my wording when asking wasn't clear enough. Thanks for a few thousand more in hospital bills debt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms. Kurylas is currently trying to charge me 1300% more than is normally charged for anaesthesiology services. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE HER.

Dr. Kurylas was my Anesthesiologist for 2 surgeries I had out an out patient facility and she had a wonderful bed side manner and make sure I was completely comfortable.

I was at an in network surgery center and didn’t have a choice in who was doing the anesthesia. I had previously had a similar surgery at the same center with the same insurance and didn’t have any issues. I got stuck with Dr. Kurylas and now am getting screwed on the bill as she’s is not contracted with any insurance companies. It seems she does this to bill for whatever’ amount she wants and when you ask for an explanation as to why it was billed that way, her incompetent office staff say they don’t have to tell you why. I would NEVER want her services again and I would NEVER recommend her- not even to my worst enemy. Such an unnecessary headache she causes to unsuspecting patients.

went in for a colonoscopy that is supposed to be covered %100 by my insurance. My doctor is in network and so is the hospital I went to. Dr Kurylas shows up while I am waiting in pre-op and says she will be the anestisiologist. Turns out she is not in network and now will not accept the amount the insurance company pays.. She is demanding that I pay her an additional $800 for her services that I never hired her to perform. Never would recommend this doctor. This is so wrong.

I experienced a much longer recovery time from anesthesia administered by this doctor than for any previous surgery. Her billing staff is in disarray and has hounded me for a bill I paid months ago, causing me to waste time and energy on trying to square my account. For a subsequent surgery I asked that she not be involved in any way. Am investigating lodging a formal complaint against her.

After 72 years I was given the greatest anesthesia by Dr. Kurylas. She caring, attentive, reassuring and made my surgery easy. With many health issues she was knowledgable and allowed me and my family the peace we needed. She was not only delightful as a person she was extremely learned in anesthesia. I had no issues after surgery with nausea as I usually do. What a great experience.
