Be prepared for Dr. Rekerdres to give you a lesson on what she deems to be the sad state of psychiatric care in Texas. During subsequent visits she will inform you of what psychiatrists have been sued or had criminal charges filed against them. She will also let you know that she has no financial incentive to see Medicare patients. She prefers to do the talking and have her patient do the listening.

The office is so overloaded that getting an appointment and wait times are abysmal. And I believe this is the reason for such low reviews, which is totally unfair to Dr. Dre. Her personally, as a doctor, is absolutely top notch. When I became suddenly disabled back in 2011 I had to wade through MULTIPLE crappy doctors before finally finding her. She literally saved my life. I'm still disabled, but I'm doing as well as I possibly could at this point, and it's all thanks to her. If you want a pill pusher, go elsewhere. But if you want a compassionate, knowledgeable, attentive doctor who performs her duties with nothing but her patients' well being in mind- then Dr. Dre is for you!

She is a caring practitioner who really cares about the patient.

Dr. Rekedres is a wonderfull Dr. However, she unfortunatley is working under the "Child and Family Guidance Center" which is by far the worst expirience you will go through. It's like having to to swim through a lake of warm crap to get to cool clean water. The staff are not only completely ill informed, they are incredibly rood and coldly uncaring, IF you're lucky enough to ever get anyone on the phone! Your appointments are constantly getting screwed up. your prescription refills are a nightmare. They will lie straight to your face and tell you that it's been called in. # to 5 attempts later, and in my case 4 days later, you can pick up your scrips. Only 1 number for all the locations, and you CANNOT talk to the Dr., or even a voice male! When you leave a message for Dr. Rekedres, you'll be lucky if she ever gets it. It took me 5 tries over a week before she got the message, and I was calling twice a day! If you're seeing the Dr. for deppression, unfortunately the people you have to… deal with to see the Dr. will only increase your deppression to dangerous levels. Dr. Rekedres is a great caring, helpful Dr. but having to deal with every other aspect of Child and Family Guidence center is just not worth it! I am currently looking for another Dr.
