Dr. Carrie Elizabeth Cohen

Dr. Carrie Cohen is a family medicine physician with additional expertise in anesthesiology and hospital medicine. She earned her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. With 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Cohen brings extensive knowledge to her practice. She is fluent in both Spanish and English, allowing her to serve diverse patient populations.

Dr. Cohen practices at multiple locations throughout Wichita, Kansas, including Ascension Via Christi Hospital Saint Joseph, Wesley Medical Center, and Ascension Via Christi Saint Francis. Her clinical focus includes caring for patients with memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and dementia. She also specializes in treating swallowing difficulties and performs bedside swallow examinations to help patients with eating and drinking safely.
