Dr. Carrie A Diulus, MD

Dr Carrie Diulus was prompt, courteous, and explained my husband’s condition very well. She also gave him suggestions of other options that may help him. We were both pleased.

Dr. Carrie Diulus is professional, an excellent listener, always pleasant and friendly, and explains medical information so that I can understand what she says to me. I am very grateful to have her for my orthopedic surgeon.

She was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.

I am a PT that unfortunately required an ACDF C5-7. Myself and a number of the other PT’s that I work with feel comfortable with Dr Diulus treating our spin issues. She was outstanding. She only performs suer very when it is absolutely necessary. She did a phenomenal job! I had ZERO post op pain and my recover was a breeze. She was compassionate and patient, explaining the risks and benefit to the procedure...special person for sure!

After 4 surgeries on my cervical spine, 2 of which did not go well (at all!), with another surgeon, I was fearful of seeing another surgeon for problems I was having in my lumbar spine. I spoke with my PCP about my issues, and then went to PT for several months, while trying different modalities (ineffective). I asked my PCP for a recommendation (next steps), since I had already made the decision to not see the previous surgeon. She recommended Dr Carrie Diulus, and added that Dr. Carrie prefers to treat more conservatively before recommending surgery. I am so grateful for the recommendation! Dr. Carrie was caring while at the same time didn't pull any punches about my situation. She acknowledged my prior conservative measures, recommended additional imaging, and took her time assessing my case. I appreciated that! Yes, I ultimately needed surgery; that was over a year ago. I am delighted at the outcome! I no longer use a cane and find I am walking straighter and without back… pain. Yes, I went to PT and continue to do my exercises at home (though not with the frequency I know I should). I highly recommend Dr. Carrie! Thank you so much for all your help!

I wish I could have stayed under her care (I had to leave the state for a job.) One of the best I have ever experienced.

I'm sorry to say, but Dr. Diulus is actually Dr.Di-useless. Please, if you're reading this, find someone else that has real experience and who was not put through medical school by someone who married into money (her husband, also a doctor). I saw her for chronic low-back pain (going on 29 years now). She did one MRI when I saw her at the Cleveland Clinic (wonder why she isn't there anymore!) and she told me "nothing appeared on the MRI" and then she continued to insult me, accused me of LYING that I had pain, and totally belittled me because she didn't see anything that could be done surgically (AKA she saw no money) and this is all AFTER ONE TEST. Doctors who have experience know that, while MRI's are useful, they cannot possibly exaplain every condition. I was absolutely furious at her ignorance and now, because I fought back with her because, she has PERMANENTLY MARKED MY MEDICAL RECORD as a "drug seeker." A completely childish, unethical, and down right absurd claim all because… she got nasty with me when she didn't "find anything obvious for my pain" and I said "so that's it. You just give up on people you can't make a buck on, huh?" And I stormed out. I'm 61 and have never abused any drug in my life. All I wanted was to find out what was causing my pain and I was just looking for an answer. When I found a new doctor, he knew of her and basically said she was a joke. He also diagnosed me with having spinal stenosis. Beware of this witch.

Ruined my mothers life!!! Made her suffer for almost two years because she was afraid to operate

I would use Dr Diulus again (but hopefully I won't have any more back problems)
