Meet Dr. Carrie
Carrie H. Thangamani, DDS, MS
Dr. Carrie feels very privileged to be part of a profession that is dedicated to serving and helping people of all ages. She understands that every patient is different, which is why each treatment she provides reflects the unique needs of her patients. Our experienced team at the office works very hard each day to make sure each patient is comfortable and excited to be there. It is wonderful to watch our patients grow and succeed in their individual lives, while building relationships with our patient families. Each day provides a new challenge and experience that makes coming to work that much more enjoyable!

Continuing Education
…Dr. Thangamani takes continuing education courses to stay on top of the ever–evolving field of orthodontics. She believes that it is important to always be a student of the profession and to continue to evaluate new treatment systems that provide better and improved treatments for her orthodontic patients.
In the Practice
Dr. Carrie has enjoyed the profession of orthodontics since she was an adolescent, having experienced extensive orthodontic treatment as a young teenager. She also appreciates the blend of art and science involved in creating a patient's new smile and improving their overall facial esthetics.
She feels that it is truly remarkable to see the confidence grow in a patient's smile throughout the treatment process.  Dr. Carrie also finds it very gratifying to see how happy and satisfied a patient is after completing treatment.  Most importantly, she believes that the long–lasting relationships that are created with patients and families over the years are extremely rewarding.
Family Life
Dr. Carrie is originally from the small town of Jamestown, in upstate New York. She has lived in the Chicago area for about seven years and now looks forward to living in and becoming a part of the local community of Hinsdale and its surrounding neighborhoods and towns.  Her husband, Vijay, is an orthopedic surgeon in the area and they had their first child, Caroline, in May 2011! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, running and fitness, and travel.
