Dr. Carson Leonard Fairbanks, MD

Unfortunately, my review has nothing to do with the physician himself. He was fine, I saw him for about 10 minutes. My issue is unresolved matters with his office. I am sure if he were even privy to what they were doing, he himself would not approve. My insurance will not cover seeing him. However, since his office simply "had knowledge" of my insurance they will not honor self pay prices. They are billing me $600 for 10 minutes with this doctor. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS! I have made at least 5 attempts to reach someone in billing to try and resolve the matter. I DID NOT want to smear his name, however not one person has returned a phone call or inquiry as to help with this at all. I work in billing and charging a patient with no coverage $600 is just wrong. So in an effort to save you from the same issue, I felt the need to make this post. They continue to ignore and dodge my phone calls and inquiries and instead send me bills. Especially in today's times where jobs and incomes have been… affected by COVID, this office does nothing to help. They are not considerate of one's situation because of their "policies" I find it unfair and unjust to bill someone $600 for 10 minutes of time with a physician.
