Dr. Cary Renee Cole-Anthony, MD

I have been a patient Dr. Carey-Cole Anthony for 6 years now. She is a compassionate Dr. but if you have a condition of anything worse than a stubbed toe I would seek medical attention elsewhere. Over the past 6 years I have had a multitude of issues from a torn MCL, arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymes disease and the list goes on and on. After the MRI for my tore MCL she read the MRI and said it looks good...no damage. I then went to St.Mary's in Duluth and they said it's definitely torn and my cartilage looks like cottage cheese when it should be smooth. Got it fixed. for my arthritis she said it seemed to be minor swelling.....went to St. Mary's and found out I have osteo arthritis in both of my hands and knees, for my consistent but moving pain she sent me to St. Mary's and they found out I had Fibromyalgia.....the list over the years goes on and on and on with not ONE of the conditions diagnosed by her....always diagnosed by others. I kept seeing her because I was on a pain management… regimen and she knew my history best however she has over the past year reduced my pain medications (even though the pain has worsened and no corrective actions like surgery have been performed). I am now to the point where I can't even work part time because of the pain. She is so afraid of possibly losing her license for giving patients pain medications that she will just let you suffer. Easy example is I was on Lyrica for Fibromyalgia.....she had been giving me Lyrica and Tramadol for 5+ years until the FDA promoted the non narcotic drugs to a list of drugs that could be abused by the patient.....now I get neither meds. She is too afraid to properly care for her patients and no I am considering a malpractice lawsuit against her.......she either never should have given me 120 oxycontins a month along with 120 oxycodones a month, 160 tramadol a month, 120 lyrica a month, 90 flexeral a month and more for my untreatable chronic pain issues and then decides I need ZERO of any of the pain meds. She isn't a doctor, she's more like a nurses assistant!
