Dr. Caryl G Mussenden, MD

Dr. Mussenden is amazing . I have been going to the office for several years. Her husband Dr. Ellis is my PCP and it is difficult to determine which on cares for the patients more. Everyone in the office is friendly and they make you feel like family. I highly recommend Dr. M and I have referred many of my friends to her. Your health and well being is her major concern. And she takes her time to make sure she has answered any questions you may have. You could not ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Mussenden was my gynecologist for years. There simply is no one better. I wish she still had an office in the Fairfax area.

She took her time and explained all the medications and a diet plan. There was no rush and she sat there and made sure I understood EVERYTHING.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mussenden since 2003. Her bedside manner is the absolute BEST!!! Any question(s) you may have; she will be more than willing to answer. Her staff is so courteous and graciously helps you book appointments and directs your thoughout the office. She has been with me through the birth of my daughter and even when she no longer continued her OB practice, she remained my Gynecologist. I think she is a great Doctor, a wonderful woman and a well rounded person. She is no longer (for the last 3 years) in my in-network under my current insurance, but I continue to pay the expense to make sure I receive the best treatment! Simply put...I trust her and the bedside mannermakes it even easier!!!

I have never been to a more thorough doctor than Dr. Mussenden! She treated me like I was a friend and her energy is contagious. You can tell she is very knowlegdeable about her profession and I will be with her until she retires.

Unbelievable doctor!! Love her, love her. I cannot think of a time when I have gone into a doctors office and had as pleasurable experience as my experience in Dr. Mussenden's office. I am a colon cancer survivor, thanks to God, Caryl Mussenden, and a wonderful surgeon named Susan Stein. Dr. Mussenden arranged for me to see Dr. Stein, one of the top surgeons in the area. She even came to see me in the hospital. She is a kind, Christian woman who goes the extra mile for her patient. I tell her that she saved my life.... Simply the best... And for the record, she always insisted on yearly mammograms.
